Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Newton Primary School. 

Newton Primary school is a wonderful place to learn. We have experienced teachers who do the very best for every pupil in their care. We have a strong focus on the teaching of reading, writing and mathematics. Alongside this, other areas of our curriculum and opportunities in school provide all children with a well rounded primary school experience. The teachers work hard to build on our children's interests by incorporating educational visits and school based workshops. We want our children to enjoy coming to school and to feel enthusiastic about their learning.

We are a well resourced school where high expectations, good teaching and an extremely dedicated staff mean that each child is treated as an individual. We aim to provide all children with the right balance of challenge and support, whatever their ability.

We hope to work in close partnership with parents because we know that we share the same goals. We want our children to respect others and learn in a happy, safe environment and to develop the academic and social skills that they will need to succeed at secondary school and beyond.
